  110.      This software  is protected  by  both United  States  copyright law  and
  111.      international treaty provisions.  You are granted  a limited  license to
  112.      use this program on a trial  basis for up to 30 days.  To continue using
  113.      the program after the trial period, you are required  to pay the license
  114.      fee.

  116.      You are granted a limited license to copy DiskDupe for  the trial use of
  117.      others providing  you  include  the  files  DISKDUPE.EXE,  DISKDUPE.OVR,
  118.      DISKDUPE.DAT, and DISKDUPE.TXT in complete and  unmodified form and make
  119.      it clear to the recipient that this is not free  software but payment of
  120.      the license fee is required for continued use after the trial period.

  171.      DISKDUPE DUPLICATES DISKS FAST!

  173.      Thank you for trying DiskDupe. DiskDupe is the  best program to automate
  174.      your disk duplicating needs. DiskDupe can duplicate disks amazingly fast
  175.      and without any fuss. Other programs simply don't measure up to DiskDupe
  176.      in terms  of  speed, bad  disk  detection, ease  of  use,  and depth  of
  177.      features.
  178.  
  179.      DiskDupe duplicates, formats  and compares  disks up  to 6  times faster
  180.      than DOS. It copies even high-density disks in a  single drive - without
  181.      swapping! DiskDupe senses  when you  put a  disk in  the drive  and goes
  182.      right to work.  If a disk  needs to be  formatted, that's taken  care of
  183.      automatically. To perform  at maximum speed,  DiskDupe bypasses  DOS and
  184.      the BIOS and talks directly to your floppy controller.

  200.      HARD DISK INSTALLATION

  202.      To install DiskDupe on your hard disk:
  203.  
  204.      1.    Type: MD C:\DISKDUPE  <Enter> to make a  subdirectory for DiskDupe
  205.      on your hard disk.
  206.  
  207.      2.   Type: CD C:\DISKDUPE <Enter> to change to that directory.
  208.  
  209.      3.   Insert the DiskDupe  program disk in  drive A:, or  the appropriate
  210.      floppy drive, and type:  COPY A:\*.* <Enter> to  copy the files  to your
  211.      hard disk.

  213.      4.   Type DISKDUPE <Enter> to run DiskDupe.

  215.      DiskDupe  searches  the  current   directory  and  your  path   for  its
  216.      configuration file DISKDUPE.DAT. You can add  the \DISKDUPE subdirectory

  225.      to the path statement in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file so that  you do not need
  226.      to change to the \DISKDUPE subdirectory every time you run DiskDupe.

  229.      NETWORK INSTALLATION
  230.  
  231.      Running DiskDupe on a network allows  you to take full  advantage of the
  232.      multiuser environment and allows  you to share  image files. As  long as
  233.      only one computer is using DiskDupe at a time,  you can install DiskDupe
  234.      on the network under the terms  of this license agreement.  If more than
  235.      one person  will be  using DiskDupe  at the  same time,  contact us  for
  236.      information on a site license.

  238.      If you are the only one using DiskDupe on your  network, you can install
  239.      it as described  above in  the hard disk  installation. However,  if you
  240.      would like  multiple workstations  to be  able to  access DiskDupe,  the
  241.      network administrator  should  install  it  according to  the  following
  242.      instructions.
  243.  
  244.      1.   Copy  all  the  files   from  the  DiskDupe  disk   into  a  shared
  245.      subdirectory on the network.
  246.  
  247.      2.   Copy the file DISKDUPE.DAT from the shared  subdirectory to a local
  248.      subdirectory that DiskDupe will be started from.
  249.  
  250.      3.   DiskDupe searches  the  current  directory  and  the path  for  its
  251.      configuration  file  DISKDUPE.DAT,  which  is  updated  with  DiskDupe's
  252.      current settings  each  time  you  exit.  If DiskDupe  cannot  locate  a
  253.      DISKDUPE.DAT file, it  creates one  in the directory  from which  it was
  254.      started. There are several ways for a user's configuration to be saved:
  255.  
  256.         - Add the local subdirectory to the user's PATH statement.
  257.  
  258.         - Keep "Use CMOS for A&B" set as "Yes" in the shared subdirectory. If
  259.         started with the shared DISKDUPE.DAT, DiskDupe will start up with the
  260.         A: and B: drives tailored to the specific workstation's configuration
  261.         at the time it was turned on or rebooted (drive settings can still be
  262.         changed from within DiskDupe  at any time). This  alleviates the need
  263.         for some users to have a local DISKDUPE.DAT file.

  265.         - Start DiskDupe from the  local subdirectory or create  a batch file
  266.         to do so.
